Policy on faulty goods 

Thank you for your interest in our faulty goods policy. At our company, we take quality control very seriously. In order to ensure that our products meet our high standards, all goods must be tested at our warehouse before they can be accepted for return or exchange. This policy applies to all products purchased from our website or physical store.

 

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.If you receive a faulty product from our store, we apologise for the inconvenience and will do our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Please contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving the product and provide a detailed description of the issue along with photos if possible. We will either replace the product or issue a refund depending on the circumstances. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We want to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you need to return an item, please note that it must be in its original packaging. We cannot accept returns for items that have been opened or used. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to continue serving you in the future.
 

We cannot be held responsible for any damage or deterioration of your hair extension while you're on holiday. We would advise you to go on holiday with either no hair extensions or some old hair extensions to prevent drying out your new hair in hotter climates. On rare occasions, blonde hair extensions can turn orange or green with the mixture of the sun/swimming pools or hard water. Please understand these risks before deciding on your new hair extensions before a holiday

We advise the use of aftercare products that have been recommended by Haus22 only and cannot guarantee the quality of any hair extensions with other products This is because certain products can cause the hair extensions shed or become tangled. The correct aftercare products must be purchased at the time of purchasing the extensions or perhaps the same day as your hair extension fitting and you must have proof of continuous aftercare purchases. Any hair returned to be tested for alleged quality issues must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase for both the extensions and aftercare.

Terms and Conditions

Hair extensions provided by Haus22 do not come with a guarantee, this is down to the individual and how the hair is maintained after purchase and fitting.

 

If you have purchased hair of a longer length please be aware that this can tangle towards the ends more often than others due to the length. The longer lengths do need extra care. Haus22 will not accept returns based on this.

 

Hair that is being returned to Haus22 for testing must be approved by the quality control department. Any goods received without the appropriate paperwork and receipt of recommended hair care will not be processed until the correct paperwork is received. Failure to provide the completed paperwork within 75 days will result in the goods being destroyed. 

 

Any colouring, toning including silver and purple shampooing of extensions is done entirely at the customer’s own risk and we will not test, refund or exchange any extensions that have been exposed to the above nor will Haus22 accept hair back that has been altered in any way. All hair extensions must be returned in the original product colour and format.

 

Goods are not considered faulty if their condition deteriorates due to not following the recommended aftercare, not using the recommended products, poor hair management including excessive use of heat or heat over 180 degrees or incorrect aftercare. If no fault is present, or the hair has been damaged or coloured in any way, the goods will be returned to the customer at a cost, and we will not refund or replace the goods.

Refunds are not accepted if the customer simply changes their mind. 

 

 

We do not guarantee the use of our hair extensions whilst on holiday/in warmer climates for various reasons, including discolouration of the hair when coming into contact with swimming pool chlorine and the hair drying out through excess heat. We strongly advise all customers using hair extensions to avoid both chlorine and seawater as this can damage hair and hair colour.

We work very hard to maintain consistency with our shades from batch to batch but there might be a slight change from time to time.

If you are not happy with the shade you received an exchange only will be accepted for your items. Your items can be exchanged for an alternative shade method or length. An extra charge may apply. Hair must be unworn to warrant any kind of exchange.
 

Before returning an item please email info@haus22hairextensions with your reason for return. We will ask you to answer a number of questions before your return is agreed. Once we receive your hair the hair will be sent off for testing to check for any misuse, we usually have the test results back with in 14 working days. Once the results are back we can refund or exchange your items, should the item be faulty.

Any items found not faulty can be posted back out to the customer once the postage has been paid. Haus22 can hold the items for 14 days before discarding of them.

Haus22 does have the rights to close a complaint if the complaint goes against the company policy or if we do not receive a reply with in 14 days. Any hair returned to us from a hair order will be disposed of if the returns postage is not covered with in this time frame.

Aftercare advice

All methods of hair extensions should be blow dried and sectioned properly.

Use professional shampoo and conditioner only.

Do not use any conditioner at the root of your hair extensions.

Use a tangle teezer/wet brush and gently detangle hair extensions every morning and evening.

Wash your hair 2-3 times per week.

We do not recommend tying up your hair extensions and certainly do not tie your hair up tightly, if you need to tie your hair up often then we do not recommend having hair extensions. Wear your hair up in a low, loose ponytail should you need to tie it up.

Removal of your hair extensions is recommended to be done by an extension specialist only.

Please use a heat protect spray on your hair extensions and avoid excessive heat.

Avoid washing your hair for 2 days after installation.

​

It is recommended you wash your hair 2 times a week minimum, over washing can cause the hair extensions to loosen quicker and only use dry shampoo on your own hair.

Do not go to bed with wet hair and if possible, tie hair into a plait when sleeping to reduce matting.

 

Extension fittings must be redone every 6-8 weeks. It is imperative that you keep on top of maintenance to remain good condition of the hair. I cannot guarantee the condition of the hair will remain excellent quality without regular refits
